About Me i go by many names - i was born as lisa joy, but i am also known as ami, amrita, liz, lis, mitts, mittsie, mittsamaphone, ovenmitts, and little one. i'm in my late 20s and originally from the Maritimes. i have been living in "the hammer" since June 2006 and love being so close to toronto - although going from an area of 110,000 to half a million ... it can be overwhelming! i am a witch - even though i don't like to categorize myself, i do seem to fit in the tradition of kitchen or hedgewitchery. i am heavily influenced by the Divine Mother (aka Goddess) and mainly worship Goddesses. i read tarot cards & practice reiki - eventually will have my own holistic healing business including homemade soaps & candles, aromatherapy, massage therapy, crystal healing, chakra healing, aura healing, etc. i am quite the oxymoron. i'm introspective and an introvert, but quite blunt, snarky and sarcastic at the same time. something needs to be said, i'm usually the one to say it. i suffer from what i like to call "verbal diahrrea" - i usually speak before thinking. due to that fact, the language of "mittsie-isms" was born.
